Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms govern your use of SETU, operated by [FOUNDER: legal entity name], [FOUNDER: registered address] ("SETU", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using SETU, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use SETU.

2. What SETU is

SETU gives businesses a public website and a workspace to manage services, staff, working hours, customer bookings, and — for eligible business types — an online store. SETU is the platform; the business you interact with (the account holder who set up their workspace) is responsible for the accuracy of their own content, services, pricing, and fulfillment of any booking or order.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use SETU on behalf of a business.

4. Subscription plans and billing

• SETU offers Free, Basic, Pro, and Premium plans with different features and limits, described on our Pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed in INR on a recurring basis through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method each billing cycle until you cancel.
• You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep plan features until then.
• See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how refunds are handled.
• We may change plan pricing or features going forward; we'll give notice before a change affects your active subscription.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (business details, images, service descriptions, etc.). By uploading it, you grant SETU a license to host and display it as part of operating your public website and dashboard. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and for making sure it's accurate and lawful.

6. Bookings and orders

SETU facilitates bookings and, for storefront-type businesses, product orders between a business and its customers. SETU is not a party to that transaction — the business is responsible for honoring bookings, fulfilling orders, and resolving disputes with their customers. Payment for products purchased through a business's storefront is processed via Razorpay; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how that's handled.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content.
• Use SETU to send unsolicited or misleading communications to customers.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to SETU's systems.
• Use another business's or customer's data outside the purpose it was shared for.

8. Termination

You can stop using SETU and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SETU is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, SETU isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from a business's conduct toward its customers.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [FOUNDER: your city/state, e.g. "Mumbai, Maharashtra"].

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as SETU evolves. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
